Policies + Procedures
Covid-19 Procedures, Health, and Safety:
To protect the health of our staff we ask that you ensure you are in accordance with the following guidelines before booking an appointment. If you have an appointment reserved and do not meet these guidelines we ask that you reschedule your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. Please do not book an appointment if you are not in accordance with the following;
I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
I further acknowledge that Kaylee Whyte has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19, and all other communicable diseases/infections.
I further acknowledge that Kaylee Whyte can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19 or any other communicable disease/infection.
I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 or any other disease/infection may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, salon staff, and other salon clients and their families.
I voluntarily seek services provided by Kaylee Whyte and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending my appointment.
I attest that:
* I am not experiencing any symptoms of illness such as cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, fatigue, headache, drainage, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
* I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.
* I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
* I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non contagious by state or local public health authorities.
* I am following all CDC recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
For your comfort and safety, please notify your stylists if you have allergies, any physical issues or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during the treatment, please alert your service provider immediately. Masks are optional, but strongly encouraged.
Cancellation Policy:
I understand that things can come up. I value your time, and hope you value mine too. In the event you need to cancel your appointment, please be sure to notify me no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Failure to notify in time will incur a cancellation fee. To ensure our cancellation policy is upheld we require a credit card to book any appointment. Any appointment not cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date and time falls under my cancellation policy protocol. You will be charged 25% to your card on file of what the scheduled services were valued at. If you have any questions regarding this policy please communicate them before committing to an appointment. If this becomes a pattern, the third rescheduled appointment indicates that Kaylee has the right to no longer accept your appointment requests and will no longer be your stylist.
Missed Appointment Policy:
If you are unable to keep a schedule appointment, please give 24 hours notice to ensure that you will not be charged for the appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given you will be charged a no show fee of 50%. If this becomes a pattern, the third missed appointment indicates that Kaylee has the right to no longer accept your appointment requests and will no longer be your stylist.
Service Adjustment Policy:
Your satisfaction is the highest priority. If you are not completely content, please let me know during your service or within 7 days after your service has been performed. I am committed to making any needed corrections, as long as it falls in the services discussed and agreed upon during the consultation. I will be pleased to accommodate you free of charge in most circumstances. For said complimentary service to be done, this request must be made within 7 days of your initial appointment.
Child Safety/Extras Policy:
We kindly request no one additional come to the appointment if possible. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Young children in carriers/strollers may not be placed near the service areas or held in the lap. Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. Kaylee is dedicated to providing each of her guests with the highest level of services possible. We greatly appreciate your understanding and compliance with our child safety policy.
Late Policy:
We understand "life happens". If for any reason you are expecting to be late by 10 minutes or more to your scheduled appointment, please call. We work very hard to schedule the right amount of time for each service. Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting other guests scheduled that day. Please be aware that in the unfortunate event you are 15+ minutes late, we cannot guarantee that your services will be performed that day or performed in full. Tardiness may require rescheduling your appointment for another day and subject to the cancellation fee above.
Photo/Video release:
I give permission for Kaylee Whyte or team to use any and all photos or videos taken during my appointment for any and all marketing efforts, including but not limited to social media, website, email or digital marketing.
Saved Payment Method:
All guests' payment methods are safely and securely stored on file using my POS system. My POS system uses Stripe, the world’s leading secure and PCI compliant online payment processor.
Product Return Policy:
A very lightly used product may be returned and exchanged for another within 15 days, there will be no refunds. Make sure to reach out to me with your concerns as soon as possible after using the product and before the 15 days.
Salon Etiquette:
Discriminatory/Derogatory statements and actions are prohibited in the salon and will not be tolerated. Our staff has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service. We want your experience to be a tranquil and stress-reducing experience for all. Please help us to achieve that by putting cell phones on silent while visiting the salon. We understand that at times urgent situations come up and if they can’t be resolved via text message or email, you are welcome to use your cell phone in the waiting area or outside.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
Every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. The conversations you have with Kaylee Whyte, and team will remain confidential. Client information and email lists are confidential and will not be sold or shared with outside companies.
